What does any business may need in order to step up the online competition and deliver a clear message to potential customers? Regardless of the brand or niche the mission of any website is pretty much one and the same: to offer value, convert users to customers, and secure ROI (Return On Investment). That is clear, however, the methods of succeeding may be complicated, and that depends on the level of expertise and understanding of what needs to be done to assure that all the Google required vital steps are addressed correctly in order to assure not just success but mere survival of your website in a very brutal online competition.
The following factors are crucial and need to be addressed and monitored closely:
1. A website should have a simple and well-planned logically consistent navigation structure, pertinent Calls-to-Action, and relevant content that needs to be updated regularly.
2. A website should represent your personality, however, it is way more important to anticipate what intended target clients in your niche are looking for. You have literally about 15 seconds to impress them by showing results to what they were searching for (Rule of 15 seconds) before your users will bounce to your competition.
3. In 2021 the mobile-optimized website takes the lead over the standard desktop version. Think Mobile first! Make sure none of the elements will be hidden from Google on Mobile. That's why they are called Mobile friendly!
4. Have you ever wondered how come the website looks gorgeous and appealing, however, there is not much traffic you can count on? Well! It's because of poorly created or simply missing SEO, or Search Engine Optimization.
Besides being "pretty" a website must be geared with the right tools to assure higher ranking by Google, Bing, and Yahoo Search Engines (SEO). There are over 200 different factors to rank your website. Just to name a few: web page speed load, ALT texts for images, file titles for images, color contrast ratio, correctly placed video, the hierarchy of H-tags, and so much more. Also, part of well-done SEO is writing meta descriptions for each page, submitting the entire website to Google, and requesting Google to crawl and index each page individually.
5. Google Analytics is another extremely viable service/tool to gear your website with knowledge based on analytical reports to analyze website traffic and show who your Customer is, their age, where they are coming from, and so on.
6. Google Core Web Vitals report is analyzing how your web pages perform, based on real usage data and reflecting various aspects of website load speed.
7. Web Design color psychology. Yes!, you read it right! The choice of website colors is as vital in the process of planning and building a website, as its content and the choice of words. For example, all wellness and nutrition websites use various shades of green. Any sales discounts are framed in red. When you need to elicit trust, the blue color comes in handy, and so on.
8. It is much more important what your users like versus what is impressing you. Time to learn a new term: User Intent, otherwise known as query intent or search intent. It is the identification and categorization of what users intended or wanted to find when they type their search terms into an online web search engine. Why is it so important? Because understanding the user Intent in a specific niche enables you to organize and monitor relevant to your brand keywords.
9. Once your website is SEO optimized there comes the next step: your social media presence! Which platforms are relevant to your niche. How to create infographics that may be reposted on Facebook business page, Instagram, and so on.
10. What resources are free and available for creating your branded posts? Canva.com and Adobe Spark are the best.
11. How to save time and repost your content on different platforms at the same time? Facebook Business Suite is a very unique and free tool connecting your Facebook business page with Instagram. Once it's done a special dashboard will provide you with a substantial number of gadgets and business tools. However, the most important feature is enabling you to schedule posts for the entire month. You will be able to cross-post simultaneously on both platforms - FB and IG. That's something to look forward to because now you can post to Instagram off of your laptop and not just the smartphone! Isn't that cool?
